THE WOODLANDS, TX – Get ready for a monumental weekend in The Woodlands as the 13th Annual Woodlands Marathon is set to draw thousands of runners and spectators to the area this Saturday, March 2nd. More than just a local race, the event has grown into a premier running destination, offering distances from a full marathon to a 2K fun run, and serving as a Boston Marathon qualifier.

The excitement kicks off bright and early. The longer races – the full marathon, half marathon, and 10K – all have a 7:00 AM start time. The 5K begins at 7:20 AM, followed shortly by the 2K Fun Run at 7:30 AM, ensuring a bustling atmosphere from dawn.

Packet pickup closes promptly at 7:00 PM on Friday; there is no race day packet pickup for the marathon, half marathon, or 10K.

For non-participants, significant traffic disruptions are anticipated throughout Saturday morning. Extensive road closures will be in effect, impacting major arteries across The Woodlands. Residents and visitors should plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
