**The Woodlands Man Indicted on Child Sexual Assault Charge**

**THE WOODLANDS, TX** – A Montgomery County Grand Jury has formally indicted Joshua Paul Odom, 36, of The Woodlands, on a charge of sexual assault of a child, stemming from an incident involving a minor under 14 years old. The indictment was handed down on Thursday, March 7, 2024, moving the case forward in the judicial process.

The serious allegations against Odom originated from an investigation launched in August 2023 by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s Crimes Against Children Unit. Detectives meticulously gathered evidence and identified Odom as the primary suspect in the case.

Following the extensive investigation, Odom was arrested on September 12, 2023, and subsequently booked into the Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $150,000. He currently remains in custody, awaiting trial.
