**The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival Set for Stellar 2024 Edition, April 12-14**

**THE WOODLANDS, TX** – The highly anticipated Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is ready to enchant art lovers and cultural enthusiasts, transforming The Woodlands Town Center into a vibrant outdoor gallery and performance space from Friday, April 12, through Sunday, April 14, 2024. Consistently ranked among the nation’s premier arts events, the festival promises a weekend filled with creativity, live entertainment, and community spirit along The Woodlands Waterway.

Presented by The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC), the festival is a cornerstone event for the community, drawing visitors from across the region and beyond. It serves as the primary fundraiser for TWAC’s vital mission of providing cultural enrichment, fostering creativity, and making art accessible to all through educational programming and scholarships.

“We are incredibly excited to open our gates once again for what promises to be a spectacular celebration of the arts,” said Jenny Wright, Executive Director of The Woodlands Arts Council. “The festival is not just an opportunity to discover incredible talent; it’s a vital engine for our community’s cultural health, making art accessible to everyone and supporting the next generation of artists through our educational programs and scholarships.”

Over 200 juried artists, selected through a highly competitive national process, will showcase and sell their original works. Attendees can explore a diverse array of mediums, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, digital art, ceramics, and mixed media, offering unique pieces for every taste and budget.

Beyond the visual arts, the festival offers a full sensory experience. Multiple stages will host a continuous lineup of live musical performances throughout the weekend, spanning various genres from jazz and blues to folk and pop. Performing artists will also entertain crowds, while a diverse culinary scene featuring gourmet food trucks and local restaurant favorites ensures there’s something to satisfy every palate.

Families with young aspiring artists will find endless engagement at the dedicated “Artopoly” area, offering hands-on interactive art projects designed to spark creativity in children. The festival also proudly displays student artwork from TWAC’s scholarship program, highlighting the impact of their community outreach and supporting budding talent. Friday, April 12, from 9 AM to 5 PM, is specially reserved for the “Art with Heart” program, allowing local students an exclusive opportunity to explore the exhibits and engage with artists. Later that evening, a VIP Sponsor Party will be held from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

General admission hours are Saturday, April 13, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday, April 14, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Tickets are $18 for a single day or $25 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under receive free admission, making it an affordable outing for families. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate during festival hours.
