**Missing Spring Teen Madison Hernandez Found Safe in Houston**

SPRING, Texas – June 21, 2024 – A Spring teenager whose disappearance sparked a community-wide search has been found safe in Houston, bringing a wave of relief to her family and local authorities. Madison Elizabeth Hernandez, 16, who had been missing since Monday, June 17th, was located late Thursday evening.

Hernandez was last seen around 7:30 PM on Monday at her home in Spring, near the Rayford and Imperial Oaks area. Concerns for her well-being escalated rapidly due to a medical condition that requires daily medication. She had reportedly left her home without her necessary medication or her cell phone. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants, and black Crocs.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) had issued a public plea for assistance, circulating details and photographs of Madison across their social media platforms and through local news channels. The community responded with numerous shares and tips, underscoring the widespread worry for the young girl.

“We are incredibly grateful to the public for their vigilance and assistance in this case,” stated a representative from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, without providing specific details about how or where Madison was located, citing privacy concerns for a minor. “The overwhelming support from the community played a significant role in getting this good news.”

Authorities confirmed that Madison was found safe in Houston and has since been reunited with her family. No further details regarding her time away or the circumstances of her being found have been released. The MCSO has asked for privacy for the Hernandez family as they process her safe return.

This positive outcome concludes a tense several days for the Spring community, highlighting the effectiveness of public and law enforcement collaboration in missing persons cases. Updates on this and other community safety alerts are regularly posted on the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office official website and social media channels.
