Free Hocus Pocus Pops Concert at The Pavilion

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands is set to host its annual “Hocus Pocus Pops” concert with the Houston Symphony on Friday, October 6th, 2023, at 7:30 PM. This family-friendly event promises an evening of spooky, musical fun for the Halloween season.

Gates will open at 6:00 PM, allowing attendees to partake in various pre-concert festivities. Families are encouraged to arrive early for trick-or-treating stations located throughout the venue. A highlight of the pre-show activities is the costume contest, sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, where creativity and Halloween spirit will be celebrated.

Under the baton of talented conductor Yue Bao, the Houston Symphony will perform a selection of classic spooky tunes and popular movie scores. The program is expected to feature iconic music from films such as *Psycho*, *Ghostbusters*, and *Harry Potter*, alongside other family favorites perfectly suited for the fall festivities. Woodforest National Bank is the presenting sponsor for the “Hocus Pocus Pops,” with additional support provided by The Wortham Foundation.

While lawn and some reserved seating tickets are free, all attendees must secure a ticket for entry. Free tickets can be reserved online through The Pavilion’s website at www.woodlandscenter.org or picked up at The Pavilion’s Box Office, with availability beginning on Thursday, September 7th, 2023. There is a limit of four tickets per person. For those unable to secure advance tickets, a limited number of walk-up tickets may be available on the concert day, though these are subject to availability and early planning is highly recommended.
