**Conroe Symphony Orchestra Spreads Joy with “A Conroe Christmas” Holiday Concert**

Conroe, TX – The Conroe Symphony Orchestra (CSO) concluded its annual “A Conroe Christmas” holiday concert on Saturday, December 9, 2023, filling Mims Baptist Church with an evening of festive music, community collaboration, and seasonal cheer. The cherished event, held at 1609 Grand Parkway South, brought together local talent and holiday traditions to usher in the Christmas season for area residents.

Under the expert guidance of Artistic Director and Conductor Dr. Robert Zwick, the orchestra presented a program rich with timeless traditional carols and beloved holiday favorites. Dr. Zwick’s leadership ensured a polished and spirited performance, showcasing the orchestra’s dedication to musical excellence.

A significant highlight of the evening was the involvement of guest soprano Stephanie Clark, whose powerful and emotive vocal performance captivated the audience. Further enriching the concert was the enthusiastic participation of local youth, with both the Conroe High School Choir and the Caney Creek High School Choir lending their voices to several pieces, creating a grand and harmonious sound that resonated throughout the sanctuary. This collaboration provided a valuable opportunity for student musicians to perform alongside a professional symphony orchestra, fostering musical growth and community pride.

Adding a magical touch for families and children, Santa Claus himself made a special appearance, delighting attendees with photo opportunities and spreading an extra dose of holiday cheer.

The concert doors opened at 6:30 PM, allowing patrons to settle in before the 7:30 PM performance. Tickets for the event were priced at $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, as well as for students with a valid ID. Tickets were available for purchase online through conroesymphony.org and owensarts.com, with cash or check options also available at the door.
