The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Major Crimes Unit has taken the lead on the investigation into Dike’s death. While the official cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy and toxicology report from the Montgomery County Forensics Center, preliminary findings have led authorities to state that they do not suspect foul play at this time.

The MCSO extended its gratitude to the community for their assistance during the search efforts for Dike, acknowledging the outpouring of support and shared information from residents. The news of her death has sent ripples of sadness through the local community, which had actively hoped for her safe return.

The investigation remains ongoing as forensic experts work to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Dike’s death.
